Camping Options for 2022!

Our two main camping areas are…

The Meadow (Caravans, Campervans, RVs and Tents – NEW & FINAL ELECTRIC HOOK UP RELEASE AVAILABLE)

Wild Woodland (Tents only).

All areas are within the Chester Lakes complex where the event is held so you are a very short walk from the action, and have access to toilets, waste facilities and free-to-use showers. Each of the main campsites will have their own toilet facilities.

You can arrive on site from 9am on Friday and stay until Midday on Monday. The festival is open from midday on Friday til 11pm on Sunday.

Which tickets do I need?

The only tickets you need to stay with us and attend the festival are weekend camping ones for either the Meadow (Caravans, Campervans/RVs & tents in this area) or the Wild Woodland (tents only here). Select the number of people coming and check out.

You don’t need car parking tickets (it’s free, and you can park on your pitch), a campervan pass, another ticket to get into the big top, a ticket for your awning or an upgrade for the loos (our loos are ace!). Every ticket holder gets unlimited access to our free fairground rides too. The only optional addition is an electric hook up for campers staying in the Meadow camp site.

Staying with Friends?

We do not allocate pitches in the main camping areas (Meadow, Wild Woodland and Festival Field). If you want to stay next to friends or family the simplest way is to arrive together so you can all chose space next to each other. If this isn’t possible have a word with our staff when you check in and they will do their best to help you save a space (subject to availability).

Family Tickets

A limited number of great value Family Weekend Camping Tickets are now available in the Wild Woodland area offering a 20% discount on the face value of tickets for two adults and two children. Scroll down for full details.

This ticket is not available in any other camping areas, is subject to availability and cannot be booked in conjunction with a group discount code.

BBQ Pod overlooking lake

Don’t fancy putting up a tent? Try one of our five BBQ pods! Pods have a central BBQ with chimney and seating. There are single sized wooden sleeping benches to accommodate up to four and a handy electrical point within the pod. Pods come complete with parking right outside and a picnic table – many overlooking the fishing lakes.

Woodland Electric Pitches - SOLD OUT

Just four pitches away from the hustle and bustle for tents, caravans, RVs or campervans on the Woodland Island. These come with a hook up included within the price. We do not recommend these pitches for families with children under 12 as they are near to water.

Woodland Island Private Pitches - SOLD OUT

Private Woodland Pitch

Just two exclusive private pitches away from the hustle and bustle for tents only. These come with a hook up included within the price. We do not recommend these pitches for families with children under 12 as they are near to water.

Festival Field Camping - SOLD OUT

Our Festival Field camp site has access to toilets and showers. Electric hook ups will be provided if you have booked one for the weekend and you can stay in this area with a Caravan, Campervan, RV or tent.

Food is available within the festival field when we are open, and within walking distance at other times

For infrastructure reasons all guests who have booked electric hook ups will be in the same part of the field, so if you have booked a hook up and the people you want to be next to have not we will not be able to let you stay next to each other.

Staying at Deva Fest - What you need to know!

All Camping tickets include entrance to the festival for the entire weekend and camping in your chosen area.

Each member of your party needs a weekend camping ticket to get into the camping area.

We allocate one pitch to each booking made, so if you need more than one pitch you need to split the booking up.

All camp sites have access to toilets and showers within a short walk.

In all areas you can park next to your pitch.

Food is available within the festival field when we are open, and within walking distance at other times on The Meadow from the Chester Lakes Cafe.

You can bring your own food and drink into any camp site so you can set up a barbecue, kick back with a glass of whatever you fancy and relax. All that we ask is that noise is kept to a sensible level after 10pm.

Each booking is given a space of at least 8 metres x 8 metres to accommodate both your vehicle and any tents or caravans.

Most cars are around 4-5m long and about and up to 2m wide, whilst caravans are typically 3-6.5m long and a similar width to a car so you will be able to pretty much anything into your pitch comfortably.

With the exception of the BBQ Pods and Woodland Island Private Area we do not allocate pitches. If you want to be next to your family and friends, you need to arrive at the same time. Spaces are taken on a first come first served basis.

Under 5s go free.

You can access all camp sites from Friday morning before we open til the following Monday.

Bringing a crowd? If there are eight or more in your party drop us an email to for our discount code which knocks an eighth off the price.

If you are Camping with us and staying in The Meadow, Wild Woodland, a BBQ Pod, Woodland Island or Woodland Electric Pitches these areas are being hired for the duration of Deva Fest by Deva Fest Ltd from Chester Lakes. By booking in these areas you agree to being bound by their terms and conditions of stay. A copy of these can be read here

Electric Hook Ups

If have booked an electric hook they are 240 volts and are of the type supplied by all camp sites, but they don’t work with normal household plug, so don’t forget to bring your adapter!

If you are staying in a vehicle and have booked power, we recommend bringing a cable with a good length. You will have had a lead supplied with your vehicle, but if not you need one of these, and ideally 10 metres long or more.

Tent pitches, you will require an 16A male adapter just like this one

If you are used to camping you will probably have these, but if not you can pick them up readily at places like Go Outdoors or from Amazon.

Accommodation Nearby

We aren’t offering glamping (watch this space for 23!), but if you don’t fancy the full on camping experience the newly opened luxurious Honeypot Hideaways might be the option for you. A small exclusive site around 10 minutes drive away from the festival in Higher Kinnerton there are three well equipped pods which sleep up to three people.

Cost is £120 per night and the site is for 16+ years only.

If you want to book a Honeypot Hideaway click this link for more information and to book your accommodation directly with them. The pods are subject to availability and their booking terms and conditions apply.

Bookings at Honeypot are not the same as the camping bookings on site – they do not include festival tickets, so you need to make sure you have the appropriate day or weekend no camping tickets for the event. It will be your responsibility to travel from the accommodation to the festival for the days you attend, but we do have free parking at our event.

There are plenty of hotels available in the City Centre of Chester – we recommend The Townhouse and The Hotel Chester both of which are near to our shuttle bus routes.
