Deva Fest 2022. Third Time Lucky and another NHS and Key Worker Thank You!

So it happened again. No Deva Fest in 2021 after the pandemic forced us out of the fields for a second year.

This time round it felt a little different.

In 2020 it was an obvious decision to make that we couldn’t got ahead. This year it was less cut and dried as there was always a chance that restrictions might get lifted in just enough time to put Deva Fest on, but at the time of writing (start of July) there still isn’t an insurance policy in existence to protect events like ours. Throw in Chester having continued outbreaks of covid and being under special measures and there were lots of doubts on everything from the team or an artist getting pinged by Test and Trace to your safety at the event. It just didn’t feel right.

We’ve tried to do the right thing and made refunds easy for you to apply for if you wanted one. They do take up to 14 days to head through the card processors and your bank so please be patient. If you have asked you will get your money back.

If you are keeping your tickets for 2022 we have announced that all of our major artists are returning for the rearranged event on their respective days. Take a look at the music page to see who is playing when. We also have a few little surprises to add in as well. Believe you me it will be worth it. It’s not like we haven’t had any time to plan……

We go back out on sale for the longest running festival ever on the day we would have opened this Summer – Friday 13th August (yes. Friday the 13th. We are doing it).

Before we go back out on sale I’m delighted to say that we are going to do exactly the same thing as we did last summer – a ballot for £10,500 worth of FREE tickets for key and health workers to apply for to attend Deva Fest 2022.

We will be giving away 50 pairs of free tickets for each day we are open each worth £70 to say thank you for everyone who has worked so hard to keep us safe during the pandemic.

We aren’t going to define who can or can’t apply, save to say that if you work for the likes of the NHS, care sectors, retail, transport, emergency services and education you are the kind of person we want to show our love for and we’d love you to put your name forward.

We will open the ballot on Thursday 8th July. The link will be on our home page.

If you applied for tickets last summer and were successful in getting 2021 tickets two things – firstly your tickets are valid for the 2022 festival on the relevant day and secondly please let others have a go this time!
