We will be open for three full days.

If you have booked Camping for a Thursday arrival you may arrive from Midday on Thursday and there will be a limited number of facilities available, including entertainment on the Heart & Soul stage, on Thursday evening from 1800 to 2300

We open our gates at midday for each of the days and aim to finish around 11pm.

Head to the What’s On page for the schedule.

Camping: You need Deva Fest Weekend Camping Tickets AND either a pitch reservation for your party OR a valid glamping reservation to stay on site. Our camping page has more info. Parking is included within a pitch reservation. You must have as many pitch reservations as tents or live-in vehicles that you bring.

Visiting for the day: Buy a day ticket (or a weekend one with no camping if you want to travel to us every day and not camp), then add the bus shuttle if you are on one of the routes and don’t fancy driving.

Car parking for day guests is charged at a token £1 to allow us to manage numbers.

Pay just £50 to secure any of the Camping tickets and pitches you buy with us and you can then spread the balance over three equal installments. Select the “Deposit and Balance” option on the Review and Payment page when you check out.

When are your payments due?

The card used to pay the deposit will automatically be debited every month. The first instalment payment will be around a month after you pay your deposit, with a further nine instalments being taken with around a month’s interval between each.

You must complete your payments to receive your tickets.

The ticket instalment plan is managed by WebTicketManager. If you have any questions about payment amounts, missed payments or changing your payment card please email support@webticketmanager.com

They will need the email address you booked with and your order number

Yes. Select the Deposit and Balance option when you check out. New for 2024 – you may buy day, weekend or camping tickets in instalments.

You can bring your own food and soft drinks into the festival. It is a licensing requirement of the venue that you cannot bring your own alcohol onto the Festival Field. You cannot bring anything in a glass container onto the festival field for safety reasons.

You may consume your own food and drink including sensible levels of alcohol in the camping areas with no restriction.

In the scheme of things we are a small to medium festival. We expect around 7,000-8,000 people per day on average this Summer

No. This would hold up the thousands of people entering the event. If there are any tickets left for sale by the day of the event you will still be able to buy them online.

If you are staying in the Deer Park Campsite all electric pitches will be numbered and reserved. You will be allocated a pitch number in advance of your arrival and we will post everything out to you a few weeks before the event to help you find your pitch. If you want to request an EHU pitch next to friends or family please use the form at the bottom of the Tent and Live in Vehicle page.

If you are in a non-electric pitch in the Deer Park, or are staying in the Polo Fields Campsite you can choose your spot on arrival, so please make sure you arrive together.

The Deva Camp Glamping area is managed by James Dean Events and they will be able to assist with allocation of glamping tents.

The price of transporting specialist generators to site, rigging them up, maintaining them, fuelling them, derigging them and transporting them back in 2024 dictates the price we have to charge.

If you have booked an electric hook they are 240 volts and are of the type supplied by all camp sites, but they don’t work with normal household plug, so don’t forget to bring your adapter!

If you are staying in a vehicle and have booked power, we recommend bringing a cable with a good length.

Tent pitches, you will require an 16A male adapter.

If you are used to camping you will probably have these, but if not you can pick them up readily at places like Go Outdoors or from Amazon.

You will receive an Electric Hook Up sheet to display on your dashboard. Please have this on display at all times so that our contractor knows you are entitled to power. If you do not display this you may be disconnected.

The box office allows you to buy Weekend Camping Tickets without purchasing a pitch or glamping accommodation. If you want to share with someone who already has a pitch reserved, or with space in their glamping tent check out without buying a pitch.

If you have been given tickets or want to join friends but don’t want to share with them you need to reserve a pitch for yourself. You can reserve a pitch without buying tickets by clicking here. Remember that you need tickets AND a pitch OR glamping reservation.

Each booking is given a space of 8 metres x 8 metres to accommodate both your vehicle and any tents or caravans.

Most cars are around 4-5m long and about and up to 2m wide, whilst caravans are typically 3-6.5m long and a similar width to a car so you will be able to pretty much anything into your pitch comfortably.

You will not be able to light fires, firepits or BBQs in the camping areas, whether on or off the ground. Stoves with enclosed flames maybe used as long as any heated elements are not in direct contact with the ground.

We will be offering a small number of overnight camping pitches for guests in 2024. See the Camping page for more information

Our Family 2 Weekend Camping Tickets allow two adults and two children of any payable age (so either 13-17 teens and/or 5-12 children) to attend the event at a discount to buying individually.

We also offer a Family 1 ticket which allows two adults and one child or teen to stay with us.

You still need a pitch or glamping reservation to go with them.

If you have more than four in your party use the Family 2 ticket as a base and add on the extra people you need.

You can use either Family Weekend Camping Ticket as a base ticket for ANY campsite as long as you add on the correct pitch or glamping reservation.

We run a competition for bands to play at Deva Fest every year

Head to the What’s On page for details on how to apply.

We may have a small requirement for volunteers this year, but the majority of roles will be filled by dedicated staff

The short answer is no. Like any other festival, concert or event our tickets are not refundable. We have to be able to plan with confidence for the event – we need to book everything from toilets to security and rides and we can only do that with a good idea of the numbers who will attend.

If you can’t come you can gift your tickets to a friend and they can attend by forwarding your booking email to them.

We will open a fan-to-fan resale platform if you want to sell your ticket on safely to another fan in 2024

We will once again be offering shuttle buses for our day guests to attend from Chester, Ellesmere Port and Wrexham. We are also offering a service from Tarporley, Tattenhall and Holt this year. See the Find Us page for times and routes.

Your tickets will come via email from tickets@webticketmanager.com so have a search in your inbox for an email from that address.

The email with the ticket link attached occasionally goes into your spam or junk folder so have a check there.

If you still haven’t had your tickets you might have typed your email address incorrectly – drop a line to hello@devafest.co.uk and we will change it and push your tickets back out to you.

When you contact us please let us know which email address you used to book so that we can trace your booking.

Tickets for Deva Fest are only available on this website. Please do not buy tickets on any other website other than our authorised reseller Tixel.

If you are camping please the camping pages for details of where you can park on your campsite. Parking is included in camping pitch prices.

If you are visiting for the day car parking is around a five minute walk from the festival and is charged at £1 per vehicle.

Accessible Blue badge parking is available at the festival entrance – just follow the signs.

Yes, dogs are welcome but we expect them to be on leads at all times and that you clean up after them.

Dogs are not allowed into the big top (which is where the main stage is). A dog’s ears are more sensitive than a human’s and loud music in an enclosed area can scare or upset a dog.

Your four legged friend can also stay with you if you are camping whether you are staying in a tent or campervan/caravan

You will be able to arrive on Friday morning from 9am if you are staying on our camping and caravan sites on a standard ticket.

New for 2024 – we are selling a limited number of Thursday arrival tickets which allow you to arrive from Midday.

This is a great option if you want to kick back for longer at the festival and arrive at your leisure. Note that the festival field will not be fully open on Thursday. It will open from 6pm to 11pm for Thursday Campers ONLY. There will be one stage of entertainment with a selection of food and drink available. All other attractions (such as fairground rides) will remain closed until the festival fully opens on Friday at midday.

You can stay on site until Midday on Monday.

We take our obligations to local residents very seriously and comply with the venue’s licence in relation to festival goers getting to and leaving the site, noise pollution and the times at which the event opens and closes. Contact hello@devafest.co.uk if you have any questions for the organisers.

We have made a number of complimentary and discounted tickets available to residents of the Estate and those in the very immediate area. Please contact eo@chol-estates.co.uk to confirm your eligibility.

The site at Deva Fest is fairly flat and compact and we do not anticipate access issues for those with mobility problems or small children. Blue Badge parking is available at the festival field entrance or if you are camping all pitches allow you to park by your tent or caravan.

We do not have wheelchairs for hire on site, nor will there be scooter charging facilities.

If you have any concerns or specific enquires please get in touch by mailing hello@devafest.co.uk

The festival does take place on a field, so if there is a lot of rain this may be soft underfoot.

Camping: You will receive an e-ticket when you book, but we will post you your wristbands and (for electric hook-ups only) pitch reservation details and electric hook up sheet to display on your dashboard around three weeks prior to the event.

Glamping: our providers James Dean Events will contact you to make arrangements for you to access the event.

Day and Weekend No Camping Tickets: you will be sent e-tickets when you book. The bar code on your e-ticket will be scanned when you arrive at the festival and exchanged for a wristband to access the event. Either print the ticket at home with a good quality printer or show it on your mobile device when you arrive to gain entrance.

If you lose the email with the e-ticket on it drop us a line on social media or hello@devafest.co.uk and we can resend it to you.

Yes you can, but for security reasons all bags will be searched. Please have bags open when you arrive ready to be searched to prevent delays

You may bring in festival chairs, festival carts, rugs, wind breakers and gazebos in to Deva Fest. For everyone’s comfort you may not use these items in the big top near to the stage.

Please email trade@devafest.co.uk to be considered for 2024.

We can’t control the Great British weather, but we have planned Deva Fest to be as “weatherproof” as we can. The main music acts will perform indoors in our circus-style big top and there will be plenty of options to get under cover if it does rain.

If you’re disabled – or have recently had an operation that will affect your mobility at the event this year – and require an assistant to enable you to attend the festival, we’re happy to provide you with an extra ticket for them, free of charge.

We will ask you to provide proof of ID registered in your name, such as the following (please blank out any sensitive information):

  • Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate)
  • Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate)
  • Evidence that you are registered severely sight impaired (blind)
  • A Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
  • Credability’s Access Card

Email us at hello@devafest.co.uk telling us which day(s) you want to come and how many people are in your party and we will work out the best package for you and ask for you to confirm eligibility.

Under normal circumstances we only offer one carer ticket per party. There must be at least one paying person in your party to allow you to apply for a carers ticket.

Note we do not provide free carers tickets for temporary mobility issues such as a broken bone.

The volunteers of NCT Chester will be on hand all weekend with their Feed and Change tent. If you are attending with your little ones, look out for them!

You will be able to leave and re-enter the festival site – just show your wristband

We would love you to bring your tribe to our festival!

If you want to bring 8 or more guests we will knock an eighth off the price! Contact us on social media or by emailing hello@devafest.co.uk for details of how to book.

If your child is under 5 on the dates of the festival they are admitted free of charge. Please select a free ticket for them when you check out.

For everyone’s comfort and safety our festival is a no-smoking site. You may smoke within your own live-in vehicle or tent if you are staying on site. You may not smoke in the Camp Deva Glamping bell tents.

You may vape on site, but not in enclosed areas.

Please do not embarrass yourself by trying to bring drugs into a family friendly festival. Anyone caught using illegal substances will be asked to leave immediately and we have no choice under the terms of our license but to call Cheshire Police. Please don’t do it.

Deva Fest is owned and operated by four Chester companies with specialism in events and hospitality. We have no affiliation with any other music festivals.

Please contact hello@devafest.co.uk with your request. If your email is being sent from a generic domain (gmail or the likes) we will need to see a letter of consent that you are authorised by the charity to ask for donations.

At the time of writing there are no covid restrictions in place in the UK. As such there are no restrictions on attending our event. Hand sanitiser and soap will be available across the site and in toilets.

You can read our terms of sale and entry here
