This topped of with The final show @o2sbe last night which was definitely one of our favourite gigs ever and exactly 12 years to the day that we first played there. Amazing! The whole thing has left us inspired and excited to get back in the studio and see what happens next”. We can’t wait for them at Chester Lakes. They play music from all of their chart topping albums.

The Dunwells

There may only be two members with the same surname, but The Dunwells are very much a band of brothers. Consisting of two siblings, the hardworking duo from Leeds has just released their new EP, COLOUR MY MIND. Indeed, that tenacity and spirit have brought the band members a long way since their school days. Joe Dunwell and his elder brother Dave grew up in a musical household and fondly recall flipping through their dad’s Bob Dylan and Beatles records, as well as hearing their mum singing along to Motown. Bassist Rob Clayton has been Dave’s best friend since childhood—in fact it was the Dunwell brothers’ dad who taught Rob how to play bass. The Dunwells’ songwriting has grown over the years since school, enriched by extensive US and UK touring in support of the band’s 2013 debut, Blind Sighted Faith. “There were so many euphoric moments on tour, and we’ve tried to capture those feelings in the new songs,” says Dave. Those memorable moments included an appearance on Late Night With Jay Leno and performances at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Fest and the Bonnaroo Festival, as well as sold out shows across the UK.<

The Dunwells are on stage on Saturday 7th September.

Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent and Leek the Weezer/Wombats-esque northerners site a string of mid 2000 guitar bands as influences.

The band formed in early 2015 and things quickly grew from there.

The Debut single ‘Boys Will Stray’ was described by BBC Radio 6’s Gideon Coe as ‘A Well Recorded Strong Debut’, Tom Robinson fresh on the net team selected it in a top 25 tracks upon submission as well as continual support from BBC Introducing’s Rob Adcock. This was followed by a busy festival season which took them north to Redcar Rocks, south to Boardmasters, east to Latitude and west to Green Man! Making friends and fans along the way!

Since then the band have gone on to attract more high profile fans including bastion of new music Steve Lamacq who recently played the latest single Danny DeVito on his BBC Radio 6 show in July. !

Featuring Jack on vocals, Johnny and Tom on guitars, Paolo on drums and Tim on bass, the band formed in 2014 through a barrage of online posts and ads, agreeing on a mission to play everywhere twice and go back for more.
