With just over six months til Deva Fest we have been busy adding some new artists to Old School Dance Anthems Friday and Pirate Saturday!

Added to Friday…

Take yourself back to a dance floor in 1994 or 1995 and you would have been waving your hands in the air to the the JX featuring Shèna anthems that are There’s Nothing I Won’t Do, Son of a Gun or You Belong to Me!

The amazing Acoustic Odds got in touch with us and asked to play as they are just up the road in Widnes. Of course we said yes! Adam and Michael transport their audience back to the 90s with their paired back renditions of the anthems of the day and we know you are going to love them!

Berri earned a record deal in 1994 at the tender age of nineteen. Her first release, dance anthem Sunshine After the Rain raced into the charts, peaking at number four and staying in the Top Ten for nine weeks. Follow-up Shine Like a Star was also a hit and reached number one in the Club Charts and Top 20 in the National Charts.

Added to Saturday…

And we are delighted to let you be the first to know that Brit & MOBO Award winning Shola Ama is joining our roster for Pirate Saturday at Deva Fest! Shola burst onto the British music scene in the late 90s with her debut album Much Love going platinum all around the world. Tunes like You Might Need Somebody and You’re the One I Love were huge top ten hits, and she has gone on to record and collaborate with some of the best in the business. Shola is currently recording her fourth studio album and remains one of Britain’s most cherished artists.

We will have word on a few more artists being added to Festival Sunday soon….watch this space!
