We are continuing to book some great artists to add to the DF bill and are working behind the scenes to plan for a fabulous and safe return to the fields. Of course there is still a little doubt all round that we will all be released from social distancing rules this June, but things seem to be going in the right direction, and we are as positive as we have been that we will get the green light for Summer 2021…..

Dave Graham needs no introduction as one of Liverpool clubland’s most famous faces. Back in the day he could be found spinning crowd pleasers in the 051 club, Society and on Radio City before leaving the scene in the early noughties. Ahoy and Avast ye’! We welcome the Old Time Sailors to the good ship Deva Fest for an unforgettable trip to the 19th century as ye prepare to sing along and become a Sailor for one epic night! Their crew of 17 musicians plays fully unplugged to ensure the most authentic experience singing and dancing surrounded by drunken Sailors. The Old Time Sailors play both Saturday and Sunday.

The Dunwells are a successful Leeds based Indie-folk / Americana band with strong vocals, powerful melodies and heartfelt lyrics. They have found favour with audiences across the world having toured extensively in USA, Europe and the UK as well as having supported artists including Mumford and Sons and Elbow on UK tours. You loved them in 2019 and we are delighted to bring them back to you!

We’ve also announced legendary Chester DJs Geddes and Gioia and Old School Wrexham DJ Pete Samba for Old School Friday, plus we’ve got a few more returning favourites to add to the line up in the coming weeks.

The outlook for the summer continues to improve. Deva Fest has joined the Association of Independent Festivals (https://aiforg.com) alongside some of the country’s most amazing festivals to be at the forefront of understanding the latest on health and safety, operational guidelines, insurance and all the technical and logistical challenges the sector faces as we try and get back to some kind of normal.

In the mean time we thank you for you amazing support and belief in Deva Fest. We want to reward you with the party you deserve this summer, but if there is a roll back in the Covid situation our first thoughts are with you and keeping everyone safe, so our tickets remain on sale with our Covid guarantee, which basically boils down to a refund if we can’t go ahead, or keep your ticket for the re-arranged event (which would be August 2022)
